mogoso
I'm looking for an additive like Sta-bil. Problem with small engines using ethanol the carb gets corroded very easy. My mower, blower, trimmer ect have been run the last few years with sta-bil and have worked fine, but I've run out and my mower is starting to run slow. I've looked around but I get blank stares and my wife doesn't know what I'm talking about when I explain it. Thanks STA-BIL® Fuel Stabilizer $8.99 Marine STA-BIL® Ethanol Fuel Treatment & Stabilizer $15.99 STA-BIL® 360° Marine Ethanol Fuel Treatment & Stabilizer $32.
worgeordie
If this is the same of RedX, a UK made diesel and petrol additive, they sell it in Big C along with other makes that do the same thing. regards Worgeordie
Gonsalviz
Tesco has stabilizer and octane booster. Probably have make sure you go to the big stores. Small black bottles. I think 1 bottle does 60 liters. Forget the price.
WheresWaldo
The ONLY place I have ever seen Sta-bil in this country is at True Value Hardware in Bkk or Pattaya. Expensive. You can call them; they will ship to you. In Phitsanulok, I have never seen any such product despite an exhaustive search and reading of much small print. sappersrest
I used to have the same problem with my rotax engine on my ultralight if they stand for a while a fungus formed and would damage the carb bowls. A tip i used was to drain the cab bowls completely. the other solution would be to use a fuel with no ethanol in it I believe it can still be had. There are a number of articles written on the subject. good luck with your quest.
circusman
I used it in the usa to keep my gasoline from going stale. I am not aware it does anymore for an engine. Why not just buy a small amount of fuel at a time so it does not get stale?
Awk
Hmm, I hope this does not mean petrol 95 is now completely unavailable here? 4-5 months ago it was available at some gas stations, including the PTT-station near the American consulate. If is is no longer available in CM I will have trouble with my bike. :-(
