Squatting on the floor requires flexibility.

Flexibility can easily be developed gradually with a little time and discomfort. Flexibility is one component of physical fitness. Many foreigners are far too stiff. In my case years ago a pot belly interfered seriously with my floor squatting efforts.

Work at it. The ability to sit on the floor is a measure of physical fitness.

Agree,it is a highly dangerous thing to do,the porcelin,does not have the structural capacity to accept concentrated weight.
