February 28, 201511 yr The playground in my wife's home village is in deplorable condition, 30+ years old, rusty with jagged edges, broken etc. For whatever reasons the local government has not attended to this . I plan to try do some fundraising to get a new one installed. The problem is that I have seen many modern-style playgrounds that are poorly made with low quality materials, plastic and steel already coming apart. The local websites I have seen are not great. I would like to know if any posters might have knowledge of a better quality manufacturer/provider. Also if you have a playground in your kids school that has stood the test of time, maybe have a look at the name tag and let me know. have Does anyone have good experience purchasing larger playground articles ? Cheers D
March 15, 201511 yr Have you tried looking to import from Australia? I think the sun weathers playgrounds very quickly here.
October 27, 201510 yr Author I would think the importation and shipping fees would be high, but will look into it. Agreed sun takes it toll on anything outdoors.
