Tourist Visa

Featured Replies

I have just had a panick attack as i think my visa stay has ran out. I have a multiple enrty tourist visa valid until June 2007. Should i only be here for a maximum of 30 days. I had in my head 3 months for some reason.

If it has ran out what can i do as i intend to stay for some time.

Many Thanks

What does the "permitted to stay until" say for a date - you must leave by that date.

There is no such thing as a multi entry tourist visa although they do issue for two or three entries.

A tourist visa for most western countries allows a 60 day stay and you can then extend that stay for 30 days with a visit to immigration and payment of 1,900 baht.

Most western countries receive a 30 day stay without visa.

So what day did you enter Thailand and what date did they stamp for your permitted to stay?

The entry stamp in you passport will inform you of the date by which you have to leave Thailand. A tripple entry tourist visa gives you 60 days stay on each visit, so it's possible you're still Ok....look in your passport!!
