6 weeks prior to Operation Brothers Keeper.

He has posted this nonsense repeatedly and ignores all the thousands of rockets fired before and after his arbitrary date. rolleyes.gif

It is deliberate! either that or he really has no clue about what he is talking about. he claims Sisi is a US stooge, But Obama was against him in favour of the Muslim Brotherhood! He also blames everyone else exept those responsible, HAMAS. Now even big money of gas and Oil is to blame for the Gazans plight!

You make your bed and you have to lay on it, you can't then blame others for what you decided. Something HAMAS and their sympathisers continually do. Really quite pathetic.

Now get ready for the barrage of blame everything on Israel brigade.

Thats right Israel have no choice but to kill thousands of civilians when a rocket is fired at them

Hamas didn't have to fire rockets at Israel. They have themselves to blame no one else.Instead of building ifrastructure for the betterment of the population they turned Gaza into a Terrorist stronghold. Even Egypt have had enough of Hamas.

Israeli did not have to ethnically cleanse Palestinians and herd them into the ghetto Gaza in the first place, then blockade 1.8 million refugees for having the audacity to freely elect their own government.

The getto Gaza as you call it was created by the Egyptians, Because they did not want to absort the Arabs from Israel. They were not hearded into gaza by Israel, They were stopped by the Egyptians from going anywhere else.

Very sad. It is too bad that the Hamas terrorists caused it and refused to stop shooting rockets into Israel. It was a big mistake electing war criminals to run the Palestinian government.

Big mistake electing war criminals to run Israel's government as well.

War criminals dominate every government in the Middle East.

They're all bad.

It's a graveyard for coalition soldiers and a black hole for national wealth.

Nothing works there.

Going by those principle Britain would have been with their rights to carpet bomb West Belfast while bombs were going off in London. What Israel is doing is Barbaric . If Hamas had tanks and F18s there would be a war , but they don't have that all they have is 2 bob rockets to fire across their own border

Mr ExPratt,

1st your analogy. Analogies are a tricky business...

Going by your principles West Belfast would have been seeking the destruction of London and a refusal to acknowledge Londons right to exist. One would also expect that if West Belfast shot "2 bob rockets... across their own border" that they would have done so from densely populated civilian areas and held a gun to any local who wanted to leave their home. Yea, a perfect analogy...

What am I forgetting? Oh yes. Of course what Israel is doing is Barbaric. It wrenches the heart. But it's hard to work with the promise of 72 virgins in exchange for killing. I can see how terrorism might be barbaric as well, but if not, the virgins thing might deserve a look at its sanity. So, let's see... You've got to respond to someone who is trying to end your existence and they seem either barbaric or insane. Hmm..... What to do, what to do, wringing your hands.....

I can't wait for the threads concerning Egyptian strikes against Hamas seeing as some of our esteemed members will need to post pages of indignation, or else be considered flaming hypocrites.

I bet they don't get anywhere near Israels Tally

The Egyptian regime is a military dictatorship, the stooges of USA and Israel, that stole power from the elected government and killed thousands of its citizens in the process. Nothing they do would surprise me.

USA backed Egyptian tyrant Sisi has actually offered to assist Israel in ethnically cleansing Gaza yet again, by deporting Gazans to tent cities in Sinai, so that between the two of them they could cash in on lucrative oil and gas reserves off the coast of Gaza.

Where power and money are concerned human rights take a back seat.

What tripe above

Putin and Egypt are now allies

Egypt leader Sisi has no contact w Obama and Kerry.

Egypt and Israel, are natural allies against radicals, who are now destabilized

The old days are over,

The USA has no influence in the region now.

Jordan Iraq, Saudi Arabia and turkey are all against Iran and Syria

Old thinking no longer applies

Well you are wrong. No country of earth would allow thousands of rockets to be shot at towns and cities on their sovereign territory. Stopping it would always be a top priority and Israel did the same thing that almost anyone would do. It is just lucky that the Israelis are smart enough to prevent more of their own citizens from dying, because it certainly is not because of lack of trying on the Palestinians' part.

The stop the 1000s of rockets pretext for the Gaza war is a complete myth.

In the 6 weeks prior to Operation Brothers Keeper which began the last years Gaza War 5 rockets fell harmlessly...that’s less than one per week!

And 3 mortar rounds fired at a military target IDF forces on the Gaza border (see below what provocations the IDF had been up to during this same period)

Here’s the real timeline of events, not your dishonest myth about a fictitious IDF response to 1000s of rockets pretext in the 6 weeks prior to Operation Brothers Keeper. When you read what actually happened prior to Netanyahu launching his murderous provocation, you can see that Hamas had in fact shown considerable restraint...5 harmless rockets in response to the IDF’s 5 assassinations plus several injuries.

May 1 A rocket hit an open area in Eshkol. No one were hurt, no damage was reported.

May 21 Several [3] mortar rounds were fired at IDF forces on the Gaza border. No injuries, damages in attack.

May 23 A rocket exploded in open field in Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council. No reports of damages or injuries.

June 1 A rocket was fired early Sunday morning at the Eshkol region. The rocket landed in a field and no casualties were reported.

June 11 A rocket fired from Gaza narrowly missed a main artery in southern Israel as it landed in a nearby dirt field without causing any injuries.

While in that same period here’s what the IDF had been up to...

Really? I think you have quoted the wrong campaign. Surely the 2014 gaza campaign was called "Protective Edge" If you can't get you're fact right why make unfounded claims. Shows just quoting something off a webpage without really knowing doesn't work.

I invite readers to consult the actual timeline of events in the Gaza 2014 war. It started under Operation Brothers Keeper when the IDF needlessly started smashing Palestinian homes and imprisoning anyone associated with Hamas in order to provoke a Hamas reaction, thereby disrupting a recently formed unity government between Hamas and the PA. Israel doesn't want partners in peace negotiations. They prefer to maintain the conflict.

Gee, I was only guilty of attempted murder 5 times in the past 6 weeks. I tried and failed...that's fewer than one per week!

They have a choice and it's the right choice. Don't let terrorists get strong enough to overwhelm you.

I don't understand something. People get it when Islamic terrorists hit Sydney or Paris or Copenhagen, but they don't get the same when Islamic terrorists hit Israel.

Islamic terrorists aren't worth apologizing for.

Simple, Jews always have been, throughout the ages, and for eon, a fair game to anybody and any one

who were looking for a scapegoat and someone to blame and ultimately try to eradicate in any means possible,

sadly, nothing has changed....

Gaza Arabs have an evil but legitimate Government.

But it is always convenient to blame Israel for 'Palestinians' woes along with all other woes of the rest of the World.

Keep keeping on - 'blame the bloody Jews' and you are guaranteed of popularity among fools of any nationality.

Ain't that the truth.

Since Israel withdrew from the Gaza Strip in 2005, terrorists have fired more than 11,000 rockets into Israel. Over 5 million Israelis are currently living under threat of rocket attacks.

More than half a million Israelis have less than 60 seconds to find shelter after a rocket is launched from Gaza into Israel. Most rockets launched from Gaza into Israel are capable of reaching Israels biggest cities, including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

Rocket fire from Gaza is a constant threat facing Israels civilians. In 2011 alone, 630 rockets from Gaza hit Israeli towns. Thats an even higher number than in 2010, when 231 rockets hit Israel.

jazzyfrosty

The statistics you quote from "Occupy London" are really jazzy and really frosty.

Without arguing your figures and without accepting them on a face value (remember about 'lies, damned lies and statistics')

I am asking one simple question: "when the long suffering side in this war will quit the senseless self-inflicted pain and suffering?"

I think the question is a rhytorical one.

The criminals egging on the ignorant masses of Gaza Arabs are often far away Politicians supplying the victims with deadly ideology, arms and money.

Thus the deaths, destruction, no progress and multiple 'innocent' civilian victims.

And as an added bonus - 'bloody Jews' take the blame!

I do not expect to change your views - you are a mature member of TV with a whole 22 posts to your name.

Just reminding that there are members with different ideas here who do not plan to "Occupy London", Paris, Amsterdam etc.

I think you will find that most of those rockets were in response to Israel's unprovoked attacks on Gaza in 2008 using phosphorus bombs against innocent civilians and 2012, resulting again in 1000s of Palestinian deaths
Readers may wish to view the truthful timeline of events here.
"On November 4, 2008, Israel launched a military incursion into a residential area of Dayr al-Balah in central Gaza. Israel stated its aim was to destroy what it said was a tunnel on the Gaza-Israel border dug by militants to infiltrate into Israel and abduct soldiers, however an Israeli defense official was quoted in the Washington Times acknowledging that Israel wanted to "send Hamas a message."The assault, according to Mark LeVine was unprovoked, and several Hamas members were killed."
Same MO as Israel's provocations in 2014, then simply muddy the waters and timeline thereafter with the mantra "Stop the rockets."

The simple fact is, When Israel vacated Gaza, Hamas could have chosen peace and built ifrastructure, they could have had a thriving tourist industry. Instead they chose to attack Israel.

ALL IN THE NAME OF DESTROYING ISRAEL.

They got what they deserved. The Gazans voted these terrorists into power, they got what they deserved too. If the arabs chose peace over terror they will find a willing partner in Israel.

BUT THAT IS NOT WHAT THE ARABS WANT.

And now even other Arab countries wish the palestinians where gone, They won't send money to Gaza because of Hamas. Egypt is now at war with Hamas.

Some of you will have to change your tune, If Egypt start bombing Gaza!

Nonsense , That makes the Jewish extremists who killed Rabin because they did not want a settlement with Palestine responsible for these 11000 rockets

How many killed by those 11,000 rockets by the way , remind me

So, many people believe that the rockets that were fired and pretty useless but obviously can kill, by the Palestinians.,Excuse's Israel for Bombing Campaigns killing thousands ?. And its all of their own fault because they voted for Hamas. They should have voted for a liberal pro Israeli party obviously

So the people who think that way , who do they think was to blame for 9/11, did anyone else there "Deserve it" because of who they voted for ?
