I have a friend who has written in his Will that his Car and Motorbike are to be left to his current Thai Girlfriend. So he is anxious to find out what forms needs to be filled in at this stage. He is looking for the Thai form that is required, then he will have it translated.

At this stage, his other friends are also curious to see this form also, as they want to know what the form actually says. I have not researched this topic myself, but have been told that simple documents are needed like Blue Book, etc etc, but the friend is adamant that their is a Thai document that he will need to sign too.

Go to the local Dept of Land Transport and ask them will be interesting what they say about the vehicles registered in a foreigners name after they are deceased and obviously no current WP ,confirmation of address etc ,girlfriend may find she owns them but cannot register in her name .

Maybe all he needs to do is fill in a 'bill of sale' and leave the date open for his GF to fill in at a later date. Could be that simple!
