Popular Post RoastBeef
Maybe because labour is cheap and they do a better job by hand

Torrens54
Pay 160 inside and out with vacuum.... The place near Honda on Hang Dong Road (Shell Station, left hand side out of town) also does Underneath the car and they have a pretty good Customer Lounge with free Tea and Coffee (not fancy but okay) In the rainy season, if your car gets messed up within 7 days, bring it back for a FREE Exterior Was and Dry. Don't know of any Automatic places offering all of that in the "First World." Do you???

The machines make up for the extra cost of labor (called productivity) and the price is about the same. The machines filter and recycle the water making them even more efficient. Good machinery does a really good job.
Tywais
There was one at the Esso station near Tesco Lotus on Hang Dong Road that I used all the time several years ago. It's the place in the back behind the mini mart. Not sure if they are still operating though. Google Street View

delboy
There used to be one in the car park at Makro on the super highway. I took the pick-up through there a few times.
