Google Ventures chief thinks we’ll live to be 500 years old

In an interview with Bloomberg, a leading Google executive has spoken about how he believes humans will one day live to be 500 years old.

Bill Maris, a managing partner of Google Ventures, the company’s invest arm, explained how Google continues to invest millions of dollars in life sciences that will ensure the human race will live longer.

According to Maris, Google Ventures has hired scientists to help identify startups and tech companies that could help find a cure for cancer. He also said that future cures would make today’s treatment of cancer with chemotherapy “seem primitive” within the next 20 years.
