BANGKOK, 17 March 2015 (NNT) - The first “Bangkok Bike Thailand Challenge 2015 in Cha-am” will take place early next month, with four royal trophies granted by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn up for grabs.

The organizers of the event, including the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the private sector, called on Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha at Government House prior to the Cabinet’s meeting this morning to publicize the event.

The long-distance cycling race is scheduled for 5th April 2015 at the Sirindhorn International Environmental Park in Phetchaburi Province to honor Her Royal Highness on the occasion of her fifth cycle birthday anniversary on 2nd April 2015.

Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Sirindhorn International Environmental Park under the royal patronage to finance various projects initiated by the Princess.
