Two arrested with 600,000 methamphetamine pills

BANGKOK: -- Police have arrested two Chiang Rai residents while they were allegedly delivering 600,000 methamphetamine pills to an unknown client in front of a shopping mall in Nonthaburi.

On Saensuk, 26, and Sompol Tasam, were arrested when police found the drug on the back of their pickup truck on Saturday. They were accused being drug mules for a gang across Mae Sai border.

NACC urges civil societies in BKK to help end corruption

BANGKOK, 22 March 2015 (NNT) - The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) has organized a project to promote the civil sector's participation in corruption prevention in Bangkok. The project encourages all civil societies in Bangkok to work together in tackling corruption in Thailand.

KMITL ex-rector opens his house to media to prove his innocence

BANGKOK: -- Former rector of King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) Thawil Poengma today opened his house to reporters to show off his “wealth” and a list of assets he declared with the National Anti-Corruption Commission on annual basis.
