Behold! Mercedes Benz Pick up truck incoming

Unlikely we'll see this in TH, because:

1) The brand damage would undo decades of brand positioning.

2) We don't have contractors making triple-dollar-digits per hour - the only people that could both afford and want it probably don't want to draw that much attention to their "mules".

Anyway M.B. made pickups before

Absolutely Classic. Put paid to the critics very quickly. Still if you can afford one, why not? MB has a fantastic reputation of making all sorts of very good vehicles, including trucks and vans, why not a pick-up?

It will be faster than most and probably built to another standard than the usual, which aren't bad but luxury is luxury.

Yup, Thailand won't like it because we don't have a culture of rich ranchers or urban cowboys here. wink.png It would destroy that carefully nurtured hi-so image that has taken generations to groom.

Could think of a better word to replace 'ranchers' beginning with 'W' ;)

They would like you to think that, but most MB here including all those bought for mia noi and toy boys are bought with proceeds from selling the families farm land from one or two generations ago or from unpaid income tax from businesses started with money from the sale of family farm land.
