Popular Post Dutchbike
Even when you could make it fit, Somehow I don't think a Z 1000 exhaust will make a Ninja 300 sound like a 4 inline

RubberSideDown
I'm assuming you're talking about the can- obviously the whole system isn't going to fit. The header pipe diameter of the Z1000 is likely much larger (5-10mm, probably), in which case you'd need a welder to fabricate an adaptor to get it to fit- it won't sound remotely the same on a Ninja 300, though, and would likely lower your bottom end through loss of back-pressure. RubberSideDown
^ As I noted, the can won't fit without fabrication. If you're willing to make an adaptor, you can get a car muffler to fit if you wanted. Edited March 28, 2015 by RubberSideDown
hansgruber
Im talking about the can only not full systemIt will never sound like it does on a litre bike. It's like taking a exhaust off a corvette and putting it on a fortuna and expecting the same sound.

karlos
Can it be made to fit: Yes, once an adapter and bracket have been made. Will it sound like a Z1000: Absolutely notP.S. Stock Z1000 silencers are very heavy, perhaps more so than your stock NInja exhaust, other than the styling, there is no other reason to go through the effort of installing one, let alone for it's sound..... :S
