Anybody ever heard this line before?

Pink floyd - The great gig in the sky

Here are the lyrics:

"And I am not frightened of dying, any time will do, I don't mind. Why should I be frightened of dying?

There's no reason for it, you've gotta go sometime."

"If you can hear this whispering you are dying."

"I never said I was frightened of dying." ........

Has anybody heard that line in the song "If you can hear this whispering you are dying." ?

Or was it never in the song in the first place?

Were they whispering that line?

Heard the last line " I never said I was frightened of dying " vaguely, but the one before I can't even hear whispering.

Also I've never googled the answer that is if there is an answer so if anyone could answer this question without googling it, that would be great.

There's an instrumental version and a one with lyrics. Here's the one with lyrics:

Thanks for the post, although you can hear the last line of the song on that one ( same as the one I've got here on my phone) it doesn't display subtitles for both the last two lines which makes it even more of a mystery lol.

A lot of artists back then liked to create a type of enigma in their songs and I think that could be the case. Plus I'm sure this question has been asked before the Internet was invented so I guess all the answers that maybe on Google now could just possibly be theory's.

There is not a person alive who isn't dying. Have a good night.
