Police investigate sexual assault of woman in East Pattaya

PATTAYA; -- Police are currently investigating a case of sexual assault on a 37 year old woman which occurred on 3rd April in the Huay Yai area and on Tuesday issued a photo-fit image of the man they want to arrest in connection with the case.

The assault occurred in the early hours of 3rd April as the 37 year old woman was driving home from work. A man on a further bike approached from behind and drove up beside the woman and forced her off her bike by kicking her vehicle over so it along with the victim fell onto the road. The woman was then dragged into nearby undergrowth and sexually assaulted.

On Tuesday Police issued a photo-fit image of the man who is suspected of conducting the sexual assault and they believe the man has committed similar offences and will likely re-offend if he is not caught quickly.
