if you do a news search and get a postbag link to the BKK post it never works ,always comes up with an error .

What type of error (message)? BKK Post archives (moves) their articles after, I believe, one week after which point you need to be a subscriber. The original link and it's pointer to the article then disappears.

Actually, Bangkok Post archives their articles after one day. Once the new edition is published the old links won't work.

I've experienced this and thought it was a bug in firefox. Thanks for the info guys

I've often found that using the cache link in the Google search item will get round this archiving 'issue'
