Public health minister sets ambulance speed limit at 80 kph

What about the total maniacs from 'rescue charities' etc., does the 80 limit apply to them when they are transporting patients?

The 19 people that died in an ambulance last year was probably due to the fact that the ambulance couldn't get the patient to the hospital in time because Thais do not allow ambulances to go by.

What's the stats for the amount of people killed and injured using Minivans?

Hope they will be next on the agenda for speed limitation!

Oh yes minivans or minibuses. Yesterday on a duel carriageway going towards Chiag Saen from MaeChan I was doing about 100kph. 2 minibuses came past in the outside lane doing about 130kph. Ahead a minute later were lights on red, the 2 minibuses shot across to the inside lane didn't slow down and went through on red.. Scourge of the road. In fact I want a T shirt made ( anyone know where I can get ) with a pic of a white minibus on the front and underneath written Forgive them, they know not what they do .

I would also like a T shirt with Lead me not into temptation, I can find my own way thanks. But I digress.
