Former Democrat MP calls for police reform

BANGKOK: -- Former Democrat MP Watchara Phetthong Friday submitted a letter to National Reform Council President Thienchay Kirananda, calling for police reform.

Watchara said there should be a new independent agency to replace police in carrying out crime investigations as police often abuse their authority to make cases unfair.

I have a wild idea. Lets have a police force that is anything else than an incompetent, corrupted mafia.

Well first you start at the top! Anybody with unusual wealth. But. T.I.T.

He does look rather like he's seen his own name on the list ...

Citing Article 44 the police have just been placed under the military. What more should be done?

Weren't the Democrats running the place for a while?

Don't you EVER do any research before you post rubbish like this?

Being as I am normally a nice guy I did most of your research for you, however I will leave you to work out how many years the Democrats have been in power since 1997, how long the military have been in power and how long governments under Thaksin have been in power, then you can come back and tell us all how the democrats in such a shot time screwed up the country and how in a much longer time that the TRT, PPP and PTP valiantly tried to turn back the tide.

PS Do your own (deleted) homework and research first. Laziness and sloppy work offends me.

For a little over 2 years the Democrats were running it.

Crimes should be investigated by who if not the police? I think this guy has been watching Ace Ventura Pet Detective too seriously.

Correction, the grammer police.

And who should investigate the crimes of the police?
