Visa Options after second single entry

Featured Replies

I currently live in Phuket and have to get another tourist visa soon.

I've accumulated a visa exemption, and two single entry tourist visas, all back to back and with 30 days extension.

Both tourist visas were issued at Penang and I've read that a third back-to-back from the same consulate, according to some, won't be possible.

However according to some a third is possible (and would suit me well because I'll leave SEA for a while after next visa).

My question is if it's possible for me to get another back to back tourist visa at penang or not?

And if not, what other country is the cheapest option, considering living in Phuket.

Thanks in advance coffee1.gif

You should go to Laos (Vientiane or Savanakhet) where you can get a double entry tourist visa.

Penang can indeed be difficult to get and I would not risk it. Laos might be slightly more difficult to get to, but you would get a double entry there.

If I recall correctly there have been reports of Penang doing 3 tourist visas. I suggest you contact one of the agents there to confirm the latest rules.

If you plan on staying longer than what a single entry will give you Laos would be the best choice.
