Bought some pack of steamed rice at the local market, and the guy called it raspberry rice.Normally they have white rice and white rice mixed with red rice, but this was the first time I saw it.

It is red all over with some very dark red grains inside.

Tastes good, but i would like to know what it actually is, since a google for raspberry rice gives no related results

Any idea where I can buy jasberry rice?

Have looked at big C and the major rice dealers in Pattaya, but if you ask them about jasberry rice they look at you as if you're from a different planet.

The ready cooked one is actually a mix from jasberry with I think white rice, but the jasberry seems to color the whole thing red.

I read that jasberry rice has great anti oxidation properties, so i would prefer to steam it myself.
