thesetat2013 Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 What is the point of shutting them down for only a week. These stations should be shut permanently or not at all. They mostly just feed redshirt propaganda anyway and distill dissent amongst the peasants. 2

I wish we could shut down all yellow shirt channels but, that wont ever happen. I wish we didn't have to ever see the junta's spokes boy and his childish mannerisms and equally idotic statements. 5
Popular Post Lupatria Posted April 13, 2015 Popular Post Posted April 13, 2015 I’m not taking any side. Neither red nor yellow. It’s the declining freedom of the press that is worrying. 5
metisdead Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Please use discretion in your references to the government. Phrases which can be considered as anti-coup will be removed. Referring to Thailand or the government as a dictatorship, military dictatorship or other such terms will be removed. A post containing an image in violation of the above has been removed. I believe there have been enough of these notices posted so that there should be no confusion on this matter by now.
JOC Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 >>NBTC secretary-general Thakorn Tanthasit said that contents of the Khaojai Trong Kanna programme of Peace TV and Awakened, News Room and the Clear programmes of 24TV tend to cause public confusion, <<Quote So the well thought through statements by Mr P and Madame Kobkarn don't cause confusion??
tonbridgebrit Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 I think the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission should look at the Nation Newspaper and close them down. Only God knows how and why that newspaper is still allowed to operate. It's suppose to be against the rules to say negative stuff about the present government, but all of us on ThaiVisa know that they've been printing lots of negative stuff. Why are they still operating ??
ALLSEEINGEYE Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Freedom of speech is one thing but shouldn't there are be responsibility for what one says? I don't believe people should be allowed to spew blatant lies in the hopes of inciting fear or hate to further their own agendas. 1

Since quite a few sensible posters (red and yellow) here are critical to Mr P's actions...............You better call the government hotline 4444 and report us!! Knock, knock.............
tifino Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 they apparently managed to shut out sanamluang2008, but sanamluang2015 has sprung up

Why are they still operating ?? Its called freedom of speech mate and the BKK Post also comes out with criticism on a regular basis. But criticism particularly when it is constructive is welcome, unlike lies, innuendo and straight out fear mongering designed to foster hate which is most unwelcome and usually only done to farther someone's agenda.

Personally I think Jatuporn and at times Nattawut are very nice when having a shoutcast on 'PeaceTV'. Must be a year or more ago last I watched them, but they always came with real interesting views and as you know the value of and the truth level in information is directly related to the voice level of the speaker 1

Gotta love some of these falang posters ready to deny basic human rights to people in Thailand when they wouldn't accept that kind of oppression in their home countries.

tifino Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 almost as annoying as the repetetive: "na Khrap, n khrap, na khrap, na khrap" of certain Presenters who haven't the brains to actually say anything constructive in response
