I don 't give the school name because Idon't know who read this. and I've read my school had problems before. I can just to say, my school is a small school not expensive.

I think the name of the school is not important. In my classroom, I m only one to have 90 days. All have 60 days and one people have 30 days. So I was worried to go to CW yesterday.

In my classroom, I'm only one to have 90 days, but, I 'm only one to go every week at school and maybe I'm only one to study at home

Yesterday at CW, when the officier reads documents and say to me the name of my school, she lost her smile and, i felt bad for myself.

I think, what has played in my favor, is I talked only in Thaï with the officer and all my domucuments is writting in Thaï too. And, in the paragraph who say "why you ask a extension" i wrote 3 lines in Thaï for explan. (usualy, people write "study thaï")

So, we had a good feeling and i think the officer can read in my eyes, i learn with passion and like very much the Thaï language.

I got clean, and I not give the appearance of being on vacation same some people.

I told myself, if I had 90 days, it is the result of my study.officers are not fooled.

My thinking is if you have Ed-visa, and if you study Thai because this, where the problem? why worry?

If you read my post, you can read my school is in disfavour for studients.

In my school we have people coming from Chulalongkorn university.

They did three levels of intensive course 3h class + 3 h homework daily, Monday to Friday for 18 months, with real exams and proper certificates.

Their Thai is more than good, it's excellent.

They registered as beginners and they don't get 3 months.

I study everyday, I go to class every week

No matter how hard I study I won't get 3 months now.

Since the 5K scheme is in place, no one gets 3 months for 1.900THB.

That's how it is in my school and most schools.

So I'm sorry but I find it hard to believe you.

Btw, does anyone know what is the situation for Pro Language students these days? For my first extension, I paid 1900 baht for 70 days. Then someone reported that he paid 3900 baht for 70 days. I'll go for my 2nd extension soon, so I'm wondering what is the deal now.

If the "extension" is more than 1900 baht/90 days refuse the offer and leave the country to obtain a tourist visa.

According to this report, only people who can read & write Thai gets 90 days. I can't, because they didn't teach us the alphabet at Pro Language.

I think 1900 baht for 70 days is still acceptable though. But if it is 3900, I may think of getting a tourist visa.

70 days is very short. It would be interesting to know your situation for compare.

What was the relationship with the agent? you were the morning or afternoon? What your level about speak and write?. ect.

I don't know what schools, but i read already, some school have problems with immigration. I cannot conform, but some people say the immigration have a school blacklist.

But for me, It's sure, I cannot accept to pay more than the price. (1900B)

Day data, are at the discretion of the officer

have you asked the other students in your school for know if have people have more than 70 days?

Absolutely they only give 90 days for people who can read & write. Why wouldn't a school teach that?

Maybe you should think about swapping over to a proper language school ;)

I asked Pro Language, and it is 3900 baht for 70 days.

All extensions of stay cost 1900 Bht.

Those willing to pay more are a definitive part of the problem.

Whatever, I'm sick of this bulls..t and I'm going to Indonesia for good. Corruption is so deep in this country, and I'm powerless against it. PL was blacklisted long time ago, but this s..t is still going on. They are still punishing real students and nobody can do anything about it.

I have found some decent Thai learning material, I'll study on my own. I'm learning faster this way than school anyway. I'm only sad about the 23,000 I paid for 1 year, half of it is wasted now.

And my suggestion to anyone thinking of studying Thai in Thailand: Don't. Immigration is just so unpredictable, there will always be the stress of whether they will give the proper extension or not. You want to learn Thai, there are hundreds of learning material that you can study on your own. You want to learn in Thailand, just get a tourist visa. It is really not worth going through all this bulls..t. They want to make my stay here harder, fine. I'll go and contribute another country's economy.
