WP cancelled - Can i still use my Non-Immigrant B Multiple issued from the Royal Thai Consulat?

Featured Replies

hello,

i need some short informations. i didnt found anything about my case in this forum.

my current employer will cancell my work permit on wednesday 06.05.15 .

i have a non-immigrant b multiple visa issued by the royal thai consulat in essen/germany for 1 year (it will expired in sept. this year). when i got my work permit before the immigration told me that this consulat issued the wrong visa, actually i should get a non-immigrant single entry visa from that consulat and the immigration will extend it for one year.

my situation now is that the immigration extend my stay because of the work permit until january 2016. -i know that this will be cancelled automaticly together with my work permit.

i plan to travel out to singapore on the same day as my WP will be cancelled. i will be come back to thailand 1 day later.

my questions are now:

can i still travel in with my non-immigrant b multiple visa from germany? or will this also expired?

if i not travel out on the same day, will the immigration guarantee me a 7 day extension?-any experience?

thanks so much for all answers.

Your multiple-entry non-B visa is no longer valid for entry into Thailand because you got an extension of stay for the reason of employment.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

thanks for your quick answer. it was confusing me a bit because of that the royal thai consulat issued a non-b multiple and not a single entry as actually just required.

Your multiple-entry non-B visa is no longer valid for entry into Thailand because you got an extension of stay for the reason of employment.

Perhaps a clarification is needed.

The visa is still valid until it expires (enter before date on visa). If it was used to enter the country when the extension of stay was valid it would cancel the extension.

Unless the OP has a re-entry permit for the extension he will be able use it for entry to the country.

If he has a re-entry permit he will need to cancel the extension and re-entry permit before leaving the country.

yes i have a re-entry permit, and i will cancell it together with my extension of stay for the reason of employment.

but so that means, i still can fly in to thailand by my non-b multiple what will expired on sept. this year if the immigration not marked it as used? this would be good because it gives me 90 days and i dont need to apply for another visa in singapore.

Your visa is still valid and you can get 90 day entries up to the enter before date, It would not be stamped used unless it was a single entry visa.

You need a letter from your employer to cancel your extension of stay with the date your job ends. If you go on that date you will have to leave the country by midnight of that day or apply for a 7 day extension. You should go in a day or 2 before and immigration will date the cancellation for the date on the letter.

thanks so much for your clear answer. now i see. i just was not sure if i can still use this visa or nor because my employer sponsored it.

so i will fly in to thailand by my non-b multiple to get 90 days.

i will tell you guys later if everything was running smooth.
