TommyUK1960
Has any one had any problems since the requirement for appointments was necessary? As I understand the system. I go to British Embassy get the Affirmation of marital status signed, Then to Ministry of affairs to get translation and all copies signed. What do I do next? How many days do you think I need in Bangkok? Should I put a Bangkok Ambur for getting married? Or Banglamung Ambur?
williewolf
You will need at least two days. If you are thinking of using the same day service at mfa you will need to get there real early as they only process so many of these a day. But if you are in no hurry to marry get them to post the documents to you. Also for translations use someone close to the British Embassy and someone close to the mfa. We got caught out by "bad" translations at both places but fortunately the people were on hand to correct it no charge
