Retired Army NCO falls from 7th floor balcony at Jomtien Hotel



PATTAYA: -- Police and medics were called to a Hotel close to Jomtien Beach in the early hours of Tuesday to deal with a suspected suicide.

Lying on the 4th floor was the body of retired Master Sergeant First Class Gitisak aged 68 who was known to have fallen from the balcony of his room located on 7th floor.

Police spoke with his wife, Khun Pranee, also aged 68 who revealed that the pair had earlier attended a party at a local school and Khun Gitisak was reportedly heavily intoxicated.

When the pair returned to their room, Khun Pranee claims that the victim went out onto the balcony and the next thing Khun Pranee heard was a loud thud and screams from other residents.

Not seeing anything about the Thai who 'Fell' from the 36th floor of a condo in Wongamat last evening at about 6pm.... Hmm
