Hold the ALT key with your left hand and type the number 35 while still holding down the ALT key at the same time as you type 35 Then out of nowhere a # character appears Now here's the kicker - it only works with the numeric keypad at the right side of the keyboard - not the numbers across the top of the keyboard.....which is strange but that's the deal! So if you have a laptop that DOESN'T have the keypad on the right side there is another way This is what ChatGPT says about the on screen keyboard : ✅ Method 1: Quickest Way (Run Command) Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog. Type: osk Press Enter. This immediately opens the On-Screen Keyboard. ✅ Method 2: From Settings (Windows 10 or 11) Press Windows + I to open Settings. Go to: Accessibility (or Ease of Access in Windows 10). Click Keyboard on the sidebar. Toggle On-Screen Keyboard to On. ✅ Method 3: Via Start Menu Click the Start Menu (Windows icon). Type On-Screen Keyboard. Click the result. Method 1 works for me and I see the # above the 3, whether this works for you or not is another thing but give it a go. This is the on screen keyboard (osk) : There is another way as well - you can open notepad, go to google.co.uk and lookup 'hash character' - copy and paste it into the notepad and then construct the full password and copy / paste the whole thing into the wifi login.... One of or a combination of the above should get you going..... -
