May 8, 201511 yr Now Brisbane is closed, I thought posting to Sydney would be the next best option. The idea of waiting in Oz for weeks waiting for this is not an option. Regarding: Non Imm O (marriage) Has anyone had experence with this recently and can give feed back on the time it took ? Anywhere else in Oz that does it quicker ? Thanks Apply by mail Applications are usually processed approximately 2 weeks for FORM A, and 4 weeks for FORM B not including mailing time. However, lately we have received more applications than we normally receive at this time so processing time could take longer. Source, click here

Post Edit: Looks like Melbourne may be another option. http://www.thaiconsulatemelbourne.com/non-immigrant-visa.php Anyone mailed into Melb or Perth recently ? Perth is really 4 days. Drop off on Monday and can pick up on Thursday. They don't include the day you submit the application. Be aware they do not open on Fridays, so if it isn't delivered on a Monday, you will have to wait until the following week. Pretty good service though. If time is your main issue, the consualte in Hobart is your best bet. They advise 12 hour processing time plus postage. I've used them several times and they're excellent. http://www.thaiconsulatehobart.com/

May 10, 201511 yr Any news on the Brisbane Consulate? Is it likely to re-open? I don't think it will be any time soon (if ever). The previous honorary consul had informed the embassy 3 years before he finally gave up and retired without a replacement. Edit: Contact info for the 4 remaining honorary consulates is here: http://canberra.thaiembassy.org/consulate.html
