90 DAYS REPORT...

Featured Replies

I reside in Bangkok but right now i am in Chiang Mai for a holidays. Can i go for my 90 days report here in Chiang Mai immigration office?. Thank you..

No, you have to do I in BKK.

But you can try to do it online or otherwise do it by registered mail.

No !

Try doing on line or by post if the "deadlines " can met .

The deadline has passed already, so i will be required to pay a fine of 2000 THB. My Agent advised me to go that it will be possible...

Until recently some offices accepted if you were on a holiday in their region as you report your address. But since a few months you have to report to the office where you got your extension of stay.

You have till 6 days after the actual due date to report.

Best not to rely on Agents !

You could of done your report before leaving Bangkok. You are allowed to do it up to 15 days early.

Yep, the long holidays cost everything and also i was hoping since i was leaving for Chiang Mai, it will be easy for me to do it there... My returning to BKK will be after two weeks... I am just confused.

Thai Visa is your friend not the "Agent" !

Not only will Chiang Mai probably not accept your 90 day report because you live in Bangkok, but if you go on Tuesday they will likely also consider your report being too late. The seven day grace period will in most places include your report date, making Monday the last day you can safely report without risking a fine.

If you are going to give it a try, I would go Monday if I were you. Good luck.
