worgeordie
I am looking for an electrical repair shop that can fix a ceiling paddle fan, I have already bought new one and fitted it up last night, but I thought if I can get this one repaired,(its good cosmetically),I can keep it as spare or fix somewhere else in the house. There is a humming noise coming from it but it does not turn, gets warm but, maybe needs coil rewinding or condenser?the thing that starts it. There was someone looking to get a repair done a few weeks, months ago on here, and he got some good recommendations,I have done a search but nothing turns up,also tried Amoun but they wont do it. I have seen these little shops with old washers, fridges outside who could I suppose fix it,but cannot remember now where I seen them. Thanks, regards Worgeordie
Seligne2
The stretch of road east of the Nawarat Bridge, between it and the railway station has a number of shops selling electrical stuff and I have seen several torn down electrical motors on the sidewalk being fixed. Sorry I can't be more specific. On my next walk I will pay more attention.
bamboozled
...on the road behind Spicy where the old Las Vegas club is, at a rather acute diagonal across the road is a guy that does repairs. Just look for all the electronic stuff scattered about...that's the place. The "acute diagonal" is probably not totally accurate...it's sort of at the other end of that little stretch of street if Las Vegas is on your left. Or, coming from the other direction just as you come over the little canal turn right and he is there on the left. The place has been mentioned on TV before which is how I learned of it. Oscar2
just take it over to Amorn near Computer Plaza/Icon Plaza. they will repair it. not the store but the repair center. if you do a search for Amorn, someone recently posted the exact location of their new location (about 100 meters from the old location).
