There is a shortage of native speaking English teachers so a school decided to interview 3 non-native English speakers - a Frenchman, an Italian and an Indian. Part of the interview was to construct a sentence using the words green, pink and yellow.

The Frenchman "I woke up, opened my pink curtains and saw the yellow sun and the green grass."

The Italian "Today I am wearing my green trousers, pink shirt and yellow tie."

The Indian "I heard my telephone. It went "green, green - green, green" So I pink it up and say "Yellow, who is it?"
