Renewal of Non o 400,000 question

Featured Replies

Hi all, just a question regarding the 400,000 savings in Bank for a renewal of a 1 year Non-O married to a Thai.

My visa expires on the 19th August 2015,this was my first non-o visa

Last year i had to put 400,000 into my K bank for 3 months, but need some advice about when to apply for my renewal.

On the 2nd May I put 400,000 into my bank (so 3 months will be the 2nd of August)

But by mistake I paid for something on my visa card on the same day for the value of 10,000 baht, didn't realise my mistake until the 10th of May which I topped my 390,000 to the required 400,000.

So my question is how strict are they on the 3 months and what date can I be looking to renew?

Thanks again guys

They are very strict, but the good news is that the money in the bank must only be seasoned for 2 months, not 3.

As above

Be aware you are not renewing a "VISA" but rather applying for an "extension of stay based on marriage"

Best to apply for the extension 30 days prior to the current extension of stay expiring.
