30 day visa extension

Featured Replies

Hello I am a British passport holder and will be in Thailand for a total of 87 days before going back to the UK. If I apply for a single entry 60 day tourist visa can I get a 30 day extension at the Krabi immigration office or should I apply for a double entry visa and do a visa run just confused because I keep reading different things.also I went to Thailand for 6 weeks in November last year on a single entry 60 day tourist visa, Iam going in September this time can I get declined a visa

No problems getting a 30 day extension and no problems entering Thailand. Just come with a single tourist visa.

As said above

Thank you. Do you know what documents I need to take with me for an extension? Do I need to print any forms off before leaving the UK

Your passport plus a copy of it's photo page. Plus copies of your visa, entry/permit to stay stamp and departure card. A completed TM7 application form with a 4cm X 6cm photo attached. Plus 1900 baht.

Thank you but what's a tm7 form and where do I get it? Also you said about my permission to stay I take it those are my stamps when I first arrive

You can get the TM7 at immigration when you go to apply or download it and print it 2 sided. http://www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/download/pdf/tm7.pdf

The stamp and departure card you get on entry.
