Currently on a multi tourist visa. Have funds in bank here and alternatively I have proof of income. I tried unsuccessfully to obtain non imm o/a in AU. Now it seems AU doesn't favour issuing non imm o.

So intend to convert here in bkk or Veintiene.

I have one bank transfer from AU of about 700k baht. The rest I have just came into country with in each visit home in cash. What's my best option. I go to udon thani often and live in bkk. Thanks

For a conversion immirgaiton wnats to see proof the money came from abroad, since you do not have that for the full amount the question is if you have any pension/income from abroad. If yes, you cna combine the 700,000 in the bank with your yealry income (certified by your embassy) and apply.

If not, a trip to Vientiane to get a non-O visa (single entry) is your best choice.

They wish you apply for O A. In any event will follow the advice of the very experienced folk here like Paz above.
