webfact Posted June 10, 2015 Share Posted June 10, 2015 Indonesia launches counterterrorism squadJAKARTA: -- Indonesia now has a new counterterrorism squad, which was launched on Tuesday by Indonesia’s Armed Forces, or TNI. According to The Jakarta Globe, Inaugurated by TNI commander Gen Moeldodo, the special unit has been named the TNI Joint Special Operation Command, or Koopsusgab.Moeldoko said Koopsusgab was prepared to fight any act of terrorism that threatened Indonesian sovereignty and would protect civilians.“We will face any source of terrorism, whether Al-Qaeda or the Islamic State now, that threatens the country. If Bali is threatened, for example, we will directly move there. Didn't know one needs this huge binoculars to see terrorists coming. I think those binoculars are standard issue among NATO countries, the bloke in the picture is obviously looking through them from the wrong end though.
