How many days to swift transfer money from Canada to K-bank?

Featured Replies

How many days does it take if I swift transfer about 300CDN from Canada to my K-bank account in Bkk? And does anyone know the approximate cost for doing that?

Thanks

you will have to check out your home bank to see what their charges are,E.G.express next day or economy 3-5days.also do they have a direct trans.to kasikorn if not you will have an aditional charge[third party]

and dont forget to send it in your currency.there will be a charge this end aswell,200bht.min.-500bht.max.by your thai bank.

you could end up paying around 10% or more on such a trivial amount.

My experience is that it takes about 5 business days and will cost a little more than 40 bucks.

Better to do an ATM withdrawl

5 days is fine but 40 CDN is alot. I need to add that 300CND for my Amex direct debit next month, I could just put the money on my Amex card from here, I understand it normally takes 2 weeks for that to go through to the Amex card though, does anyone know about that? Direct debit from Kbank is usually on the 3rd each month.

So this is a Thai credit card? Open an account with Bangkok Bangkok and have your Canadian bank send ACH trial deposits to the routing number for the branch in New York. Then call Bangkok Bank after a few days and ask them for the deposit amount in Canadian dollars, confirm the amounts with your Canadian bank and your accounts are now linked. Then you can transfer money from Canada to Thailand with a few taps from your smartphone usually in less than 48 hours. Here's the pricing chart. The links talk about it from the US but Canada is also part of the ACH system.
