Two Month Tourist Visa

Featured Replies

Hi All,

First time that I have posted - in fact used such a service so things must be serious or the info out there is very good.

The obvious question - if you are currently rolling the 30 day VOA, as I have done for four years and the neighbouring countries are not issuing anything more than two months and you cannot fly to your country of origin in the next 9 months (say), how do you can stay in the great Kingdom until you can fly out to your country of origin.

Do we yet have any info out flying out to say Penang or Phnom Phen, getting a tourist visa for two months, extending at a local immigration office for one month, then going to do three border runs and when you time is almost up, flying back out to Penang or Phnom Phen and getting another 2 month tourist visa and repeating the whole process again - will this be allowable????

My gut instinct says no as both both the visa on arrival and the actual bought visa mention the word "tourist" and the clampdown stipulates 90 days in 180 days for "tourists"????

If it is not permissible, and the neighbouring countries do not allow the purchase of longer visas (6 months, single entry, triple entry etc), any inklings yet as to the next nearest country that is actually far enough away to issue these longer visas - again if, as for me I cannot return to Europe for about 9 months....

Any info and help would be great
