I just got my shiny new extension of stay stamp. They apparently stamped it for 60 days instead of 90 and then realized their mistake and corrected it before I got the passport back.

My question is, will I have any trouble with a corrected stamp when I go to the states and come back in with a re-entry permit? Is there something official on there that says an immigration officer changed it?

Perhaps that little little line beside the first stamp is an initial.

Since you will have a re-entry permit with the correct date on it you will not have a problem. Plus immigration on arrival would be able to check it on their computer.
