I have knocked around southern SA a bit, but I've never been to Bolivia. Travelers' stories nearly all mention how unwelcome they felt there. I recall a Dutch gal who had tears in her eyes recounting her experiences: "why do they treat me like that, I did nothing to them!" Ecuador is another one I've given a pass on, but I did want to see the Galapagos. I researched it about 15 years ago and unfortunately that country's crime had spread to the islands, or so it was being reported. Oh well. I like this topic because it counters the typical travel articles about the best, like "which countries have the best salt shakers" etc. -

Dentist/dental clinic in Bangkok
Totally. I have been there for 15 years, they are still among the best. I just had my first big work done since multiple root canals many years ago: extraction of a molar, bone graft and an implant. All done in the very best possible way. Naturally, this is not cheap, but they speak excellent English, their equipment is top-notch, they keep methodical records, and they give you options. -

Armpit rash?
Is it an actual rash - with a raised surface or just a skin pigmentation change? You mention itching which does suggest some form of rash but after multiple months - is it spreading or confined to only the 'sweaty' area ? -

Visa run limits
I agree with above that it's not a good time for your plan. You'll be OK for the first 1-2 months but returning is a major problem now. Firstly, the Cambodian borders are closed so there's no quick, easy land border runs available. Secondly, if you fly back in you'll have a high risk of being denied entry. This is because corrupt officials at the airports benefit from a 'safe entry' scam, which costs ฿5000+, so gives them all the reasons they need to deny you entry. I spent 6 months here last year, as a tourist on VE, followed by 6 months back in the UK. Upon return, I was grilled at immigration about how long I was staying, what I was doing here (doh!) and told 'you can't keep doing this'. If you want my advice, enjoy your short stay in Thailand and never come back.
