I tried to get a triple entry TR visa in DC recently and found out that no matter how many entries you get the visa is only good for 90 days of stay maximum. You don't get more time on each entry like most people would expect because the entire visa itself expires after 90 days.

Which embassy or consulates can you go to ( anywhere in the world, doesn't have to be USA ) where you can still obtain a triple entry TR that allows you to stay for 270 days ( 90x3 )? Are there any recent reports?

The visa validity does limit the amount the amount of time you can be in the country it is just the amount time you have to use the visa. With a 2 entry visa you can stay for almost 6 months by doing the 2nd entry on or before the enter before date on the visa even if it is only 3 months from the date of issue.
if you get the 3 entry visa you applied for you can still stay for almost 6 months if only has 3 months validity. Then you could go out for another tourist visa.
Perhaps check with one of the honorary consulates in the states about a 3 entry http://www.thaiembassydc.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/HCG_Jan15.pdf

The honorary consulate in Bali will do a 3 entry visa with 6 months validity. You would need to show tickets out of the country for each entry up to 90 apart.

I get mine in London. One entry with a tourist visa gives a 60 day stay. Pay for a double entry and you get a second entry and another 60 days. Pay for a triple and you get a third 60 days. Total 180 days. Always check your stamp at the airport before you leave the immigration area. Also, you might say (with a polite smile), "60 day na?" as the immigration officer hands you your stamped passport, followed by thank you or Kar poom Khrap (Thai for thank you).

whistling.gif The royal Thai honorary consulate in Portland Oregon still states on their web site that you can apply there for a triple entry tourist visa there with no associated tickets requirement involved.

All you supposedly need is a valid U.S. passport valid for at least next 6 months, two photos, application form for a 1 ,3, or 3 entry TR tourist visa, and fee of $40 per entry.

So a 3 entry tourist visa there would be $120.

I have never been there, I am only quoting the web site. Do a google or a yahoo search on the topic "Royal honorary Thai consulate Portland Oregon" and check out the website.

Note that the visa is supposedly valid for 180 days from date of issue (must enter before date) so you can stretch it to nearly 270 day by intelligent t use of 3 entries and two extensions for close to 270 days before it expires.

As it has been proven again and again, Thai websites info and reality often differ.

Nothing like butchering an I/O's language to get what you want eh?

I obtained a dual entry visa with no issues, I called the consulate right at the time they open for business and spoke with the very nice lady who processes all the visas. I asked about the triple entry visa just out of curiosity and I was told in no uncertain terms that you fill out the application, send the money and your valid passport and they issue the visa.

The same lady will answer email inquiries, she processes everything and the website instructions and FAQ were accurate and dependable.

Good luck.

Yes! You can get triple entry at Boston for sure. Remember that the last entry must be no later than 6 months from the date you get the visa s get it close to the date you plan to go.
