Shoe repair places

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm looking for a good shoe repair place preferably around Central Pattaya. I went to a couple tailers on 2nd road but none of them do it.

In Bangkok they were able to point me to a specialist place that worked on shoes, but I don't know of any such place in Pattaya. Maybe someone with better knowledge can help.

There used to be a guy on the pavement at the end/beginning of Soi Buakow near the corner with Pattaya Klang.

Did a decent job for me a few times already

There used to be several places in Central Festival Mall (between the car park and the mall itself, near the toilets and ATM's), not sure if they are still there as haven't been in for a couple of months.

There's also a guy on Pattaya Klang pavement next to Lengkee restaurant (opposite side of the restaurant to the above post), normally from mid afternoon until evening.

On the north side of Pattaya Tai, just a few meters in from Second Road in the direction of Sukhumvit, there is a guy with a tiny shop who does good work.

Was looking for this shop about two weeks ago and couldn’t find it, just saw the food and massage places there.

Went on to the little stall next to the Elephant bar on Soi Buakhow, but wasn’t impressed with his demeanor nor pricing.

(Maybe he had a bad day who knows…)

Eventually continued on to the guy next to the Leng kee restaurant.

He did a really good job resoling my shoes and at a very good price. Would definitely go back to see him again.

Thanks for the tip, I was actually looking for a shoe repair place on Pattaya Klang the other day. Never in a million years would I have found this guy sitting in a shaded area off to the side of that store.

He charged me 120 baht to reglue a pair of souls with a one hour wait time. The work was well done and I would definitely use him again. In Bangkok I was charged 350 for basically the same service.

My pleasure, happy to recommend this guy as I was quite pleased with his work.

Good to hear it worked out well for you too.

There's also a guy repairing shoes in the soi running next to Tukcom on the west side, close to Pattaya Tai and on the opposite side.

There is one on the Soi Bukhao Market in front of the few bars there. ( Apparently not on market days )

I took a pair of shoes to a man sitting just inside Soi Bukhao if coming from Klang. He's next to a lady who does sewing. I need some glueing and new heels and a stick on rubber sole over the leather. He told me to leave them with him and come back at the same time the next day. I did and he wasn't there but my shoes were, reheeled, stick on etc. All looked good. The lady called him on her mobile and the price was 300thb. Happily paid up and went home.

This morning I went to put them on and found that the heads of the nails holding the new heels on were all about 5mm proud still and I had to get a technician at work to hammer them in all the way!

For those in Jomtien - Shoe repair shop on Soi 17 off Theprasit.

He is in the last unit on the left heading south about 300 mtrs down from Theprasit just before it all goes to jungle full of trash.

No idea of quality of work - but he seems to work on allsorts of shoes. Not sure of rates but he has a white Merc parked outside.....smile.png

Soi Buakhao, corner Soi 21 for sporting shoes.
The one at Lenkee restaurant for all other jobs.

The shoe repair booth is still there at Central Mall, on the 3rd floor at the entrance near the lifts. He glued some shoes for me last week and did a good job.
