Hi

I was wondering if anyone the extension there recently?

Also if a woman has done it, based on marriage to a thai man.

Do you have to book an appointment or can you just show up?

Also what is the paper work I need to bring?

*Note I dont have 400.000 in my bank. I heard as a woman you don't need it.*

But the visa agent in Penang its changed, but I am not sure how reliable she is.

Also note I am pregnant with my husbands child so I'm thinking that would be a plus?

And we have put in both money into his account each month roughly 20000 baht just

To show he has money to pay for house n everything.

Anyone think this is fine?

What else fo I need to bring?

Please only answers from people actually done this extension at Koh Samui

Kind regards

I can only give you general info that is not specific to Samui. You should check with immigration there to find out their requirements.

Do you have a non-o visa entry now? You will need that to apply for the extension of stay.

No appointment is needed.

You do not need to show financial proof. Your husband might be required to show a small amount.

You will need your marriage certificate plus a copy. An updated Kor Ror 2 marriage registry that can be obtained at an Amphoe.

Copies of your husbands house book and ID card.

A map to your house from the nearest main road.

Photos of you and your husband in an around the house. One photo must show you both with house number.

Copies of your passport photo page, visa (non-o), entry/permit to stay stamp and TM6 departure card. Some offices also want copies of all visas and entries to Thailand.

You will get a under consideration stamp with a report back date 30 days from the date you apply or from your permit to stay date. During the 30 days you will have a home visit unless immigration has you bring a witness or witnesses when you apply.
