bamboozled
I have read differing accounts on this thus my question. I lost my moto license less than a week after receiving it at the CM office. So, to get a replacement, do I or do I not need a police report? Has anyone done this recently? Thanks so much.
Dante99
You need a police report from the local police department and one from your home country.
Tywais
You need a police report from the local police department and one from your home country. It is a Thai DL so only need a report from local police. Simple procedure.
bamboozled
Guys, thanks for your input. Funny and wonderful occurrence: the mailman beeped outside my house just now and lo and behold he had my license. Sent by a kind soul. All is well that ends well. Cheers. If one looses (as in mislaid it) their driving licence back home one simply applies for another one at the licencing office,.... a duplicate. I hope you gave him a small remuneration as a gesture of thanks? I was going to say check it hasn't been handed in at the Police station. They do have name, address and ID number on all DL's.
