Phuket police arrest two women for drug possession

PHUKET: Phuket City police and narcotic police arrested two women last night (July 10) who were found in possession of methamphetamine pills (ya bah) and crystal meth (ya ice).

Police first arrested Amla Wichainan, 44, in front of a karaoke bar in Soi Damrong in Thalad Yai when she was found to have four ya bah pills in her possession.
Later they arrested Nongluck Wongtubtim, also 44, at the Spacafe on Sakdidet Rd in Thalad Yai with 10.38 grams of ya ice and 40 ya bah pills.

The arrest came after police searched and arrested one man at the work camp of the Interdraft company in Wichit and he gave them his suppliers names.

Both women were taken to Phuket City Police Station where Amla was charged with possession of a Category 1 drug and Nongluck charged with possession of Category 1 drugs with intent to sell.

Looks like Amla shopped Nongluck. They don't look like hardened criminals. I agree with mango bob - looks like 44 is like 65 in old money.

Lets see if they get anything like 50 years with seems to be the going rate for dealing yaba these days.

My wife is 44 and I am glad she doesn't do drugs , she looks a lot better than these 2 useless articles.

There is definetly "no honour amongst thieves" here in Thailand. Catch one and the gang falls like a pack of cards. Just up to the BIB how far up the ladder they want to go before they step on toes, or the tea money gets too good to refuse.
