Jonathan Fairfield
Fury as 'evil' British paedophile jailed in Cambodia will be flown home at taxpayer's expense BY MATTHEW DRAKE Labour MP John Mann slammed the government's decision to spend thousands on flying Richard Fruin to the UK, while campaigners warned he will offend again. PHNOM PENH:-- A British paedophile jailed in Cambodia for sexually abusing three young brothers will be flown back here at the taxpayer’s expense. Mr Mann said: “It’s absurd. He should be made to swim back rather than the taxpayer funding it.” Fruin will arrive within days after spending two years in a South East Asian jail. And his terrified victims have warned it is just a matter of time before the English teacher abuses again. Vile Fruin, who has a conviction for child porn in the UK, boasted: “I am returning to the UK a little older and a lot wiser to complete any obligations with the UK legal system. I’m looking forward to putting this all behind me and settling down.” Read more: http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/fury-evil-british-paedophile-jailed-6050543 -Sunday Mirror 2015-07-

samuibeachcomber
Lots of dirty old men in cambodia preying on young children from families with no money, also happens in thailand but respective governments do little or nothing to stop this.Any man that does this to young defenceless children should be "put down" to protect others. It's a disease with no cure. I hope the schools in Thailand begin taking background checks seriously or steer away from hiring British school teachers. I used to think the same until I raised the question with a policeman from an Embassy. It does seem that way, but the main reason is that the UK Embassy (and many other western ones) actively goes after these people and work closely with local law enforcement, where as many countries simply choose to do nothing. Will bring this up the next time the Brits want to ban Russians from Thailand. They seem to think their countrymen are perfect while in reality crime transcends nationality and no country is free of criminals. (just look in topics where Russians or a any nationality they don't like is mentioned) But nationalism seems to blind most people. Not only British what is it with people failing to understand that there are bad apples in any country and they travel too. Wanna bet when I bring it up I will be called a racist again. Agreed, but the Brits are not the only ones getting prisoners back, the Dutch do the same and other nationalities too. Still why not for one crime and getting them back for an other, I mean I am not sure they can exclude it for pedophiles and do get all other criminals back. car720
When an undesirable is presented to their embassy they have no choice but to repatriate. One would think that a person at government level would know this. Oh, oops!!! I forgot this is a politician who needs press coverage and a photo op. Look at past cases in SEA and you'll find a mix. Now, you might ask what is it with all the Western, and in many cases celebrities, politicians, hiso or clergy, that keep being exposed as peados? (think its a legal thing) Anyone who thinks British prisons are pleasant places has never been in one. A psychologist I know told me. I does quite a lot of work with criminals. (No, I've never been inside one, but take his word!). Sex offenders are segregated for their own protection. But they do get caught in unprotected places, or someone gets the chance to do something to them and takes it. You can score a lot of points with the prison hard men and leaders if you manage to hurt a sex offender. Much more goes on than ever makes the news. They will probably fly a couple of government folks over to escort the prisoner back to the UK. Of course they will need some recovery time at each end in a 5 star hotel after their gruelling business class flight. A little different to the Filipinos I saw repatriated to Angeles a few years ago. Handcuffed at the back of an Air Asia flight, bundled to the front just before landing, no immigration queues for them, straight into a prison van never to be seen again.
