seesip
The dog got him by the back of the house. Only about 8 inches long--still a juvenile? And does that mean there's a nest of them around?

Tywais
Dead,Wolf snake, harmless regards Worgeordie Looks a lot like a Malayan Bridal snake also due to the white bands rather than yellow bands. But that could be from the flash washing the colors out.

cmsally
Should be a wolf snake but when I see one my cautious side always tells me to assume its a Krait
eyecatcher
And again it proves even with the power of the internet no one knows. 4 replies and 4 snakes mentioned. This is justification for killing first then learn what it was. Yesterdays thread the golden tree snake image and the malayan pit viper. Google those images all different. Totally inconclusive why take a risk hoping its not dangerous.
chiang mai
I've seen one similar in my garden, when discovered it was a toss up as to which of us was more afraid of the other although I think I won the race stakes for speed whilst heading in the opposite direction. Our most disturbing find recently was tracks on the grass left by a very wide bodied snake, this as the snake emerged from the klong and transited our lawn. Mrs CM spotted the tracks and was visibly shaken, I was curious until a nearby farm worker told us it was probably a python, scary thought.
