Northwindhermit
I am looking for some kind of mail-drop option in greater Bangkok, a reliable Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA) for receiving the odd package I order from overseas. I want to order a few occasional packages (e.g., mostly from Amazon, such as books, DVDs, CDs, etc.). I am an expat living in Thailand and my home address has been a bit difficult for couriers to find. Also, if a courier arrives at our gate, we usually cannot hear him or we may not be at home. It would be much easier if a CMRA received a package then notified me, and then I could pick it up at my leisure. What are my options? Thanks in advance. dddave
I've seen package/mail services at many different shopping malls but I do not know if they have receiving or Postal Box services. You do not say where you live but the Tesco in On Nut has one just inside the door from the BTS walkway. Packages can be sent "Post Restante" to most Thai Post offices where you can pick them up at the parcel window during business hours.
