I am here on a 30 day stamp and today had planned to go to CW to do a 30 day extension. I have just noticed that my stamp was only until the 19th July. My question is can i still extend or do I need to leave the country?

Yes you can.

They were closed on the 19th.

If you go today and apply for the extension there will will no overstay fine because they were closed on the day your permit to stay ended.

last time i tried tha they told me i should have come a day earlier.

It works, i had not a single problem. I did it last week aith 3 days of overstay.

yea I think you may have to pay 500 bht fine but will be able to extend say you were sick and thats why you coem tuesday. if the ask for for fine pay it

Went today and no problems. They just took the 1900 baht and I got the extension. It was a little slow waiting but other than that no problems. The officer was very pleasant and cheerful.
