Beer sales in Thailand

Featured Replies

Since the beer prices went up and since Chang went to 5.5% ABV, does anyone know if beer sales have gone up, stayed the same or increased?

I am just curious.

I wonder what Thais think of this.

I know farang don't like it, but my Thai friends are not big beer drinkers, so they're not too worried....

I honestly dont know any Thai who drinks Chang, the ones I know all drink, Leo, Singha or Archa.

No wonder the Thais tell us, farang think too mutt.

The most Thais I know prefer whiskey...logical for me Bec you need just some 200thb instead of 600-700thb to get pissed...

Thailand’s number one selling beer is Beer Chang, which you can spot by its distinctive green label adorned with two elephants.

Think Chang is 5.8% I would not call it beer though, or any other Thai effort.
