Some military draftees to be part of Thai police force

This could be just to get revenue. Today in Pattaya I was pulled over by the police box on soi 9. There was a ton of cops stoping everyone. I had everything down to some obscure DMV fee they wanted (my wife found all this shit.) I've been into the police station twice this week for minor violations, the room was packed full of Chinese, Thai, Muslims, farangs, etc. Police seem to be everywhere now and they could use more people to stand around fining for the violations that are non-stop. It's my understanding they get a commission now which explains it.
