Possible Bomb Found In Phuket Central

I just got a call from a thai friend telling me not to go to central, that they found a bomb. I will look for an actual confirming news story on this. I hope that this is just a false rumor, as bombs in Phuket on top of a coup would be horrible for tourism. If any one knows of this, or has a news article can you post it?

I have literally just come back from Tesco, Big C and Central. No bombs at any of them nor any evacuation or police presence.

Tons of people there though cos everybody got the day off from work.

Sad to say I feel its only a matter of time before Phuket and Pattaya will become targets
