one year stay in thailand, which visa do i need

Featured Replies

if i want to stay in thailand 1 year, which visa should i get ? a 1 year ( NON O ) does this visa entitle me to stay 15 months ?

i have both british and irish passports and im dual citizen.

which passport is best to use irish or british.

THANKS

What is the purpose of your visit for one year?

A one year NON O visa will not be available to you unless

A: You are 65 years old and in receipt of the State Pension. OR

B: You are married to a Thai lady OR

C. You are over 50 and apply for an O/A visa

On what basis would you apply for the non-o visa? Married to Thai or having a Thai may be the only basis you can get one.

Using your Irish passport might help if you applied in Ireland if you are 50 for over.

You had asked the same question already on 19/12/14 http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/785392-dual-irishuk-citizen-long-stay-visa-needed-which-is-best

And again on 24/12: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/786493-how-can-i-stay-in-los-now-for-3-months-with-an-irish-passport

Of course you received complete answers, what makes you think that asking again and again you will receive different ones ?

Youve asked this question before.

Youre married to a Thai so get the Non O based on that.

Yes you can make the 12 month Non O last 15 months, but Im not telling you how cause youll probably ask again next year. Work it out for yourself.

And last month you said you got a new job in UK and wanted to bring your Thai girlfriend to UK although you're still married to another Thai.

Very exciting life you have.

I think the OP is now separated but as he has 6Mil why not use some of that for the Elite option.

Well on the business forum he is asking about setting up a little shop importing stuff from China and asking about import tax
